We are looking for a Fresh Produce Assistant to join our Chandlery Express team and do things “The Chandlery Way”. The role is crucial to ensuring the success of the business. You will therefore be required to carry out your tasks to a high standard. Your tasks are all directed towards providing our customers with the best possible shopping experience.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible and accountable for carrying out designated tasks in the shop floor and other areas. This will be achieved by working together as part of the sales team whereby everyone, collectively, create the optimum shopping environment for our valued customers.

OVERVIEW OF TASKS

Main duties will include the restocking of shelves, performing stock rotation and serving customers using EPOS systems. Applicants must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of a busy working environment. Training will be provided.

Previous retail experience, a strong command of the English language, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude are essential. Applicants will be required to work on a shift rota basis which includes public holidays.
